This idyllic 18th Century French Manor House is set in its own 24-acre park
bordered by the wooded banks of the river Armancon. It is the perfect place for a
holiday in France with family and friends. The house is maintained to a high standard with a lovely warm
welcoming atmosphere. It sleeps 6-16+ in nine elegant bedrooms, six of which are en-suite. It has a heated swimming pool, grass tennis court, walled garden, avenue, barbecue, table tennis, private fishing and a rowing boat on the river, which runs through the park. We have a wonderful cook (optional in low season) and helpful maids/babysitters who live in the adjoining village. La Maison du Chateau is the ideal venue for Painting, Wine, Bridge, Cooking, Historical/Cultural Tours, Music, Palates, Walking and other activity holidays some of which we host ourselves; others can be hosted independently making use of the lovely surroundings, and the invaluable support of our cook and staff. |

The Gate House. There is also a charming Gate House with separate accommodation for 2 to 4+ people. When the Gate House is rented on its own it does not have access to the park or pool but it does have its own private access to the river with its own boat. |
